Raspado de Paloma: Grapefruit and Tequila

A classic Paloma cocktail gets the icy treatment —— grapefruit-tequila-rose syrup! Feels like a dive in the deep end🧊🍧

Here’s the 2-step recipe:

You need:

8 oz pink grapefruit juice (from 1 medium grapefruit)

Juice of half a lime

2 oz rose syrup rose 🌹(optional, recipe below)

1 oz tequila blanco

Put it together:

Stir everything together and put into a freezer-friendly container with a lid. Freeze for 5 hours. Scrape with a fork and freeze again for 30 min or up to 5 days. 

Rose simple syrup🌹:

Heat equal parts sugar to water in a saucepan without stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Stir 1/2 tsp rose water or to taste.  Store at room temp.  It lasts a long time ;)
